HIP HOP BASICS WORKSHOP
Saturday April 20th, 2024 from 12:00pm – 3:00pm
You will learn basic, fundamental, hip hop moves that focus on grounded movement, body awareness, basic rhythm and personal style. You will also learn a fun, energetic Hip Hop dance routine. This is NOT a performance class. Simply show up, learn moves and have fun!
SALSA HANDHOLDS WORKSHOP
Sunday April 21st, 2024 from 12:00pm – 3:00pm
This workshop will focus on leaders and followers and how to understand which moves cooperate from different hand-holds and positions. Instead of having one default move you consistently do from certain positions, you will have multiple options and even be able to build your own patterns on the spot! Followers – learn to interpret the leader, read signals, and react with a split-second decision! Leaders – learn to transmit your instructions efficiently, without using force! You must have completed Beginner 1 and Beginner 2 Salsa to participate or have the instructor’s permission.
